La Sinfonia del Toro

In celebration of Automobili Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary, I was commissioned by Lamborghini Leicester to create a bold, unique piece of art. Inspired by Lamborghini’s iconic design and engineering, I sought to embody the essence of bravery, authenticity, and innovation that defines the brand.

I was honored to be commissioned by Lamborghini Leicester to create a piece in celebration of Automobili Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary.

Inspired by the car’s design - the angular panel gaps, textured surfaces, and the sound of its roaring engine - I aimed to reflect its bold essence in my work. Lamborghini’s values: brave, unexpected, authentic - This guided the vision.

La Sinfonia del Toro

The first painting, in hues of blue, explored the balance of tonal range, breaking the flatness of a two-tone palette while creating a sense of movement and power. My expressive strokes gave the bull weight and momentum, bringing its form to life.

For the second version, titled The Raging Bull, I embraced red - an intensely dynamic color - to symbolize its energy and ferocity. Focused brushwork captured the bull’s fiery gaze and sheer force.

The process evolved further. Using this artwork, I designed 60 unique pieces, each cut from an Urus exhaust pipe and its tips. Each piece was carefully selected, cut, and arranged on a mapped layout to represent the bull’s anatomy. This meticulous, problem-solving process embodies the creativity and determination of the Lamborghini spirit..

Fantastically, both paintings sold on the day of the unveiling, so I went on to create a brand new collection…

The process…

The masterpiece now lives in the Lamborghini factory museum in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy.
