Each abstract figure or portrait is painted directly onto glass, a surface that both reflects and reveals. As viewers approach the work, they find themselves caught between the painted form and their own reflection. The glass becomes a metaphor for the boundaries between self and society, vulnerability and image.

These figures are intentionally loose and unrefined, resisting perfection. The brushwork expresses movement, emotion, and ambiguity—echoing how identity is constantly shifting and shaped by context.

The Glass Surface Series invites us to consider not just who we are, but how we are experienced—through the filters of space, memory, and gaze.
